Mr. Sheikh Zain Naqeeb (the youngest Secretary in the club's history). He took oath in January 2026 at a ceremony chaired by the President (Commissioner).

Main Responsibilities of the Secretary

The Secretary serves as the backbone of day-to-day management and acts as the primary point of contact for all club affairs. Key roles include:

Overall Club Management: Handle the smooth running of daily operations, including facilities (gym, snooker, dining, guest rooms, mosque, lawns, etc.).

Implementation of Decisions: Execute policies and decisions made by the President (Commissioner), Vice President (Deputy Commissioner), and Board of Governors (BOG).

Event Organization & Coordination: Lead or oversee major events such as:

Sports tournaments (Snooker, Cricket Ramzan League, etc.)
Social & cultural events (Chand Raat celebrations, musical nights)
Religious gatherings (Taraweeh prayers, Milad-un-Nabi, Iftar buffets — including first-time open-air Iftar)

Festivals and member gatherings

Member Services & Communication: Act as the Secretary of all members without discrimination. Communicate with members, address complaints, and ensure services are improved.

Development & Upgrades: Drive initiatives for facility improvement (e.g., installing new systems like POS for billing, enhancing gym or sports areas).

Financial & Administrative Oversight: Manage club records, budgets, membership, and day-to-day administration in coordination with the BOG.

Liaison Role: Work closely with the President (Commissioner) and Vice President (DC) for high-level support, while collaborating with BOG members and committee conveners (e.g., Event Committee, Cricket Committee, Snooker Committee).

Transparency & Discipline: Promote good governance, unity, and accountability as emphasized during the oath-taking by the Commissioner.

In practice, the Secretary is highly visible , many club announcements, event invitations, and updates on social media (Facebook/Instagram of DG Khan Gymkhana Club) are issued under his direction.
